A new year presents new opportunities.
Will you take advantage of what’s in store? I’m Denise O’Berry and you’re watching
the “Little Big Show.” Your place for bite size tips that can have
a big impact on your bottom line. The time to get ready for a new year is way
before it begins. It’s important for you to use your past
lessons learned to help you have the most successful future.
So how do you use the past year’s successes and failures to plot out that path for the
New Year? Well, I’ve got just the ticket for you.
Here’s four key questions you can ask as you prepare.
#1 Did you attract a specific niche market to your products or services?
How could you increase that in the coming year?
#2 What disappointed you? Did you have high expectations in a certain
area that just didn’t quite hit the target? #3 Were you thrilled with the launch of a
new product and service only to find that nobody else was?
Why did that happen? What can you do next time to ensure better
success? #4 How diversified was your business last
year? Did you work for a handful of clients in the
same industry or did you work for several clients across different industries?
Where would you like to stretch into next year?
Make sure you have enough client diversity, so you don’t take a big hit if your client
base does. Take some time to digest the information that
you have uncovered and then use it to put together your best year ever.
What was your biggest challenge in the last year?
I’d love to hear about it in the comments below.
