With FHA, since you only put down 3.5 percent, you end up having to pay an extra $200 a month for mortgage insurance.   22. And how do we get investors/owners that are selling condos to not Jack up the sale prices of condo's? They get ridiculously greedy when selling condo's, then there is ridiculous HOA fees for condos on top of that. Unfortunately, great ideas still need safety measures put in place for the consumer. Hope new rules are put in place to prevent the above as to avoid the gouging of the above…just being real here, not negative. I DO think this is great news and long overdue. 😊 People can get housing, the main thing to consider is the long term ability to keep it affordable long term as far as a payment goes, and that payment depends on the initial price as far as affordability. So please, dot the i's and cross the t's.

  25. FHA loans are already down to 3%. This is like when trump said he “negotiated a deal” with Mexico and they had already been doing everything for months. What he didn’t tell you is that he’s using tax dollars to pay Mexico to keep Asylum seekers there and out of the US. Smoke and mirrors.

  27. Does this mean that the FHA will approve loans for condos? The reason I asked is because I had my condo in Ohio for sale last summer and I was told the first buyer did not qualify because my condo assn hadn’t applied to have FHA loans for condos in our units. I did not understand that issue, but the next buyer was getting a conventional loan, so it was approved. I did not ask a lot of questions, but I thought it was unfair.

  28. Property taxes are killing real estate now. Monthly Tax payments are reaching mortgage payments and in some cases exceed them.
