what you need to do, in order to get a remote
working job in 2020. If that’s something you’d
like to learn more about, then keep on watching. (upbeat music) Hi, welcome back to Super Humans, the place to be, if you’re looking to

my foolproof strategy, on how to get a working
from home job, step-by-step. I’ve been working from
home, as you probably know, for the past six and a half
close to seven years now. And I’ve been coaching
dozens of individuals, on how to be working
remotely, four years already. So let’s get straight into it. Step number one, is
understanding your why. And I’m gonna start with this, because this is so, so critical. Unless you’re very clear, on why you want to have
a remote working job, then this is not going to be easy for you. And I’m not saying that you
should just ask yourself why, and be pleased with the first answer that comes to your mind. Ideally, you want to
keep poking for better and deeper reasons. There are some people who say you need to do it five times, others that say you need
to do it seven times. Really, it’s up to you,
as long as you are clear, that that is the true reason why you want to have a
working from home job. It’s usually not because
you want to earn more money, or not because you hate commuting to work. If, let’s take for example, commuting to work, you
think is a time wasted. Then ask yourself why you think that? And once you have an
answer, ask yourself again, why do you think that? After you do it five
or six or seven times, I promise you you’ll come to an answer that is deep enough for you to feel that it’s the right motivation to look for a working from home job. Unless you have that
motivation coming from within, it’s not going to be easy
when you face the challenges of working from home. And if you haven’t watched my video, where I talk about loneliness,
while working from home, which I’m gonna link somewhere up here, then I encourage you once
you’re done with this video to go and watch that one, because you might understand, what are some of the challenges
of working from home. So, just to wrap up on this one, understanding your why is critical, because it will help you
uncover that inner motivation, that will not allow you
to slack or step back whenever you face challenges. Because working from home
has challenges as well. Step number two, know your outcome. I promise I’m gonna get into
the nitty gritty details about finding the job itself. But I promise you, this
is so much more important than getting to that. Knowing your outcome is critical, because you will know
exactly what to look for, once you figure out what
is your desired outcome. Why do you wanna work from home, and what do you wanna get out of it? How does an ideal day look like for you? Where are you working from? How long do you work? Who do you interact with? What do you do? How do you feel at the end of the day? Once you figure all of
this out, I promise you, finding the job itself is
gonna be so, so much easier, because you will know
exactly what to look for. Once you understand your why, and you understand your outcome. Step number three, know what you want to do. And, this is a combination of many things. It’s based on your skills. It’s based on what you love to do, based on what you know very well to do, what you’re outstanding at. There are so many frameworks
that you could use to figure out what is it
that you should be doing? If you’d like me to talk more about how to find your ideal job, then please let me know
in the comments below, like this video, and I would be happy to create a video, where I share with you the frameworks that I use with the people I coach, on how to find your ideal job. Let me do it very quickly
here for you as well. There are things that you’re very good at, you need to figure what those things are, and try and find a job
that is catering to them. There are things that you’re
very passionate about, and that you would like to do
the entire time of the day, or for your entire life. You might not be very good at them, but you’re very passionate about them. Try and understand what they are, and ideally where that
overlaps with the things that you’re very good at. Then that is the sweet spot,
that you should be focusing on. In my coaching business, I have a number of frameworks as I said that I use with the people I coach. One of them is called tend to teach. Another one is ikigai that
if you haven’t heard of, I encourage you to go and
research and many, many more. Try and figure out what
is it that you want to do, and I promise you working from home is going to be so, so enjoyable for you, and finding that job is
going to be piece of cake, once you know exactly what you want to do, and you have the right
reasons to do that for. All right, step number four, where to look for a job. So, now that you know
your why and your outcome, and you figure out what
you want to be doing as a remote work, or remote job, then time has come to look for one. And there are multiple platforms, where you can be looking
for an online job, or working from home job. Those are some of the platforms
that I have been using, with the people I’ve been hiring, to help me and work
with me in my business, and I encourage you to
use some of them as well. I am not familiar with all platforms, so I cannot talk about all of them, which is why I’m only going to be talking about some of the ones that
I have been using myself. First of them, Upwork. It’s probably the one that
I have been using the most. I have found most people I
collaborate with through Upwork. It’s simple, it’s easy, it’s trustworthy. You can see there the companies that you are applying to work with, or they can see more details about you, about the projects that
you’ve been working on, about your work history on Upwork. And it makes it so easy to find the right collaboration partner, the right fit that you
need to be looking for, when you are trying to find
a working from home job. Another option for you is Fiverr. If you’re particularly somebody looking for a more creative job, like graphic design, like web design, or social media related work, Fiverr could be another good
platform for you to look into. Of course, LinkedIn has
plenty of job opportunities, where you can work from home on. Indeed, Monster, I’m gonna link here and in the description box
below a number of platforms that I have been using. Depending on what you have
chosen at the previous step, related to what you want to do, there’s probably some platforms that are better for you than others. And if you want to know
which ones to look for, depending on the kind of
job that you wanna do, then I’ve got you covered. I will link down below a
brochure that we’ve put together, with the top 50 best-working
from home jobs for 2020. And in there, we break
down for you everything. We spill all the tea, we talk about what kind
of skills you need, how much money you can make, we talk about platforms where
you can learn those skills, but also which are the best platforms to look for a job of that kind. You’re welcome, link is down below, you can download it for free today. Step number five, how. It is so important to know how to apply for a working from home job. Not all the time you will get to go through a similar interview process, as you would for a
face-to-face job in an office. So you want to make sure, that you appeal to your
future customer very quickly, which means that your application letter needs to be really well-written. Ideally, you want to create a
video or an audio introduction where you talk about yourself, and why you are the right
person that they could hire for the particular job
that you want to get. You wanna make sure that your profile speaks about your strengths, and the experience that
you have in that field. And with that you will be providing the right value proposition
to your customer, which is yourself, and your
skills, and your experience. So, if that is something that you’d like me to talk more about, I would love to do it. Please let me know in the comments below, and I’m happy to make a
video where I talk all about, how to build your value proposition, when you work from home. With that being said, now you
know my foolproof strategy, on how to find a working from home job. I’ve walked you through my five steps, that I think are so
important for you to follow, in order to find that
perfect working from home job that suits you and your personality. As I said, the brochure
is linked down below. You’re free to go and download it today. If you’d like to join my secret society of like-minded individuals, where we talk about working from home, we provide inspiration,
motivation for each other, and we share tips and tricks on how to make working from home more pleasant, enjoyable
and healthy for all of us, while we maintain that productivity, then I invite you to follow us
and join our Facebook group. The link is down below as well. With that being said, I hope
you enjoyed today’s video. I hope you create everyday magic. I wish you a lovely day and a lovely week, and I’ll see you next time, bye.
