Hey guys! Today I’m very pleased to be in Carpi with Angelo Melis founder of LWF. I’ve got some questions let’s warm up with the easiest ones! -laughs- First of all: What is “Local World Forwarders?” A 360 degree view. A 360 degree view is the right expression because we have several “branches” and therefore several things need to be explained. Lwf is first of all a logistics provider, a peer to peer portal allows anyone in the world to become a forwarder, not the classic forwarder but a person who helps you to get a certain type of goods in emerging countries. For example, think about the protectionism in Brazil or the price control in India. If you want the iPhone that comes out tomorrow, you can only receive it after 6 months (buying it in an Indian store at a higher price) and if you want to buy it from America, they’ll just say: “No, we don’t ship to India” for a number of reasons. So what can you do? You buy it in America and an American Freight Forwarder receives the parcelfor you, he sets up the customs documents and sends it back to you. This is how it works in the world right now. What we have imagined is comparable to Uber, which has revolutionized the world with the “peer to peer”, so pretty much people carrying other people with lower costs and license removal, rightly or wrongly. We asked ourselves: “Why shouldn’t we do the same with the Forwarding Shipping Concept?” We pretty much replace the intermediaries (who, moreover, ask for incredibly high fees) with people who rely on our network and of course have their earnings with the task of receiving the package for you (in the country where it is sold or in the country where the parcel can be received) and shipping it to you. All this will be possible by using our platform that will allow the forwarder not only to use our partner (an international courier that comes to your home once you have received the parcel that must be sent back, takes the parcel and takes care of carrying out the entire supply chain process until the delivery) but also has competitive prices. The prices will obviously become competitive as the portal manages to generate volume, but since the profits of the Freight Forwarding in the world are generally very high, it will be actually enough to have a law marginality in the beginning in order to get some sort of side job. A person who has two days off per week can take care of sending a few parcels, a person who is free every day can do this as a job. This was the first concept of LWF, Local World Forwarders,that is to provide local shipments that could reach the whole world as if the destinations were next door. We wanted people to perceive this through this pun. Later on we told ourselves that it couldn’t be the only service, we also wanted something where we had no need to get a partner, where we could just use our platform and our agents. Therefore we thought about the “instant delivery”, we originally wanted to call it “express”, but in the logistic concept it represents a delivery within 24/48 hours. We want to provide the service within 2/6 hours which is “instant” because you say “Angelo, go get my girlfriend’s ring from the jewelry from which I bought it and deliver it to me by night”. That means that I’ll give it to you instantly. This market is very poor for now. In the Italian market for exaple we find Milkman in Milan, there are those who make deliveries by bike in Rome, but these companies operate only in big cities. If I need a delivery from Modena to Campogalliano (10 km) there’s no way I can get it. So here there is a possibility and a need that, if conveyed with a fair marketing, can not only generate work for people (I’m talking about Italy now but it can be any State) but also and above all offer the services that are in demand. In most cases those who have this need, such as big dealers, flower sellers or those who sell food, sign up for a platform, so the pizzeria signs up to the platform and offers delivery. So actually it is the pizzeria that provides the delivery, but if I want someone in peer to peer to handle the delivery for me, it is just not possible. This service doesn’t exist or there are very small realities. This regards the food field but I also speak with regard to generic fields such as document delivery, flowers,anything. We are going to give solutions that can be used by the private individual a single time or by companies many times. We also involve a huge target of people: those who drive a lot. So the idea of LWF is to offer services such as instant delivery or freight forwarding, which are then two separate “branches” because the instant delivery will be mainly usable through the mobile app. Through the mobile app you’ll get an instant request “Filippo, would you make a delivery from Rome to Aosta within 4 hours?” You accept, go and get the package and a system of identification and security makes us sure that who takes the package is actually Filippo and who receives it is Marica. In this way we have two company branches, the one dealing with the mobile app and the one dealing with international shipments. In addition to this there is also the packaging collecting: a service that already exists (usually for companies) that is: the kiosk or the bar receives for you the parcel while you are working and you take it when you can. The problem is that the kiosk may be 6,7,8 km away. What we thought is that this is a service with zero cost, but it can be widespread, so who can count on his wife at home or, for example, an aunt: she signs up,she receives the parcels and earns money just by receiving it (even if it is a little amount) and then waiting for somebody to take it. And then we have the blockchain part,which is the best known at the moment. This part has been explained with the Ico, we have collected the funds through that. Regarding the part of blockchain at the moment based on dPos, we are going to develop it. We have therefore made the foundation: a non-profit corporate branch that has the only purpose of paying the developers and of carrying forward the open source code, which we are going to make more complete adding… because at the moment we are a fork of lisk so we have a code that already existed, we are going to rewrite it in another language adding “features” such as the masternodes, generating some sort of proof of stake, which was not foreseen in the original Dpos. In the Dpos there was the forger, which is voted and based on the votes, it generates the forging keeping the transactions and processing them. Both for the limits of the transactions and for the fact that there was no use, it has never been an option to use the concept of DESH, so of masternode, in order to implement additional functions. We are doing this. Soon we will release several news and in general news about what and how we are doing. But I can tell you with no doubt that an important branch of LWF is the blockchain one. For what concern the developers, this is a question that people often ask me, we have the one who develops the blockchain whose name is Stefano Dessa, who has recently begun to deal exclusively with the Blockchain. We have Domenico Birardi, who helps us with the general development of all the functionalities of the current Dpos. And then we have non-continuous collaborations with Andrea Baccega who is the developer of various Dpos projects, he’s very famous, we are friends and he helps us, he doesn’t have time enough to follow LWF exclusively but he helps me because of the good relationship that we have. His help is very important. So, the development of the blockchain is moving forward. In the roadmap we have the integration with the LWF portal by May, and what does that entail? The blockchain was born as a logistic database. So the idea is: I have my logistical data from the pick up to the delivery, all this in a blockchain, where the fact that I actually took this package and that it was delivered, is notarized. The weight of that package makes all the data clearer, so you can’t tell me “You didn’t deliver the parcel” or “You delivered it late”. Another really important thing is the integration between the logistics companies, we currently want to make it a substitute for the database. So encrypted data readable only to those who have certain master key and retrievable via API and so the possibility to take a shipment from A to Z with a simple click. But obviously these data are public to all but readable only to those who have the key. We don’t want to just integrate this thing with the p2p portal but we also want to extend it. How? Today a company, let’s say Bartolini, I’ll use for the example an italian company, they must go to the local freight forwarder with whom they arrange to do the express. So me, Bartolini, have my couriers, but my couriers are not enough. I go to private companies that make deliveries on the territory and I say: “I give you 100 shipments a day, you tell me your cost, we pay you”. Well, how do I transmit these 100 deliveries to them? I have to do a software integration, so the programmers of Bartolini and those of the express couriers meet and try to find a solution about the programming languages. “How can we do that?” “I have Java and you? Ruby?” “How can we understand each other?” And therefore they make software interactions. This thing takes a long time and is expensive and you need to do that every time there are changes from one of the two sides. And obviously Bartolini has not only one partner but 2 million. I mean, all local shippers may have to interface with the computer system. So it is a cost of maintaining and integrating into the IT that is particularly influential because it is constant. We thought: What if there was a way to put everything in one database and retrieve it? Now definitely not the whole Bartolini, but maybe Bartolini says: “Ok I want to integrate with this company that agrees to use the blockchain”. With just 2 clicks someone could have the shipments, which are assigned to him by Bartolini and on the other hand Bartolini could verify the status of the assigned shipments with another click. This requires very little integration and would exploit the code we want to develop. Obviously we do this because we develop our blockchain, but it will also have an impact on the value of the currency because if the use becomes not only “in environment”, so not only in the environment of our platform as a payment method but also become used as “gas” (so let’s say as a currency, in order to be able to send transactions with data by large logistics players) this would drastically change the value of our currency. Just think, if we take the example of great reality Ups, Dhl, Fedex, they have all joined the group of logistic blockchain so they have created some kind of group community that has given hundreds of millions for the development of a logistic blockchain, we don’t want to compete with Ups or Dhl but we want to develop a blockchain and a database system that is suitable for the needs of the small dealers who want to relate to the big ones. So this blockchain isn’t similar to the Dhl one, which deals with international issues but it is a blockchain of integration, so we aim to have that niche sector and that niche data part that can be interesting in the future and that can be used by PPLayer. LWF (in addition to the Carpi main office headquarters) has a possible warehouse in Canada, which we are trying to set up in order to offer… Because Lwf, besides having its agents… If an agent is not available in Canada, the service must still work, so we are trying to set the things up in various states with warehouses of our own or with warehouses rented thanks to partner companies in order to be able to offer the service directly, so if you can’t find a forwarder near you, you can ask for it through the app and the service will be provided from us. So we’ll probably have an office in Edmonton, probably also in other cities of North America, but for now I’ll just name the certain ones, and then we have a warehouse in Vignola from where we manage the part of Direct Logistic for the European part and we hope to open soon in England and in Asia, those are fundamental points for us. We are planning and we are negotiating in Brazil too, but the issues of protectionism and Brazilian customs are difficult to approach. So we are trying to solve some of these bureaucratic problems but soon we should also get there. What else…? This is LWF. So let’s summarize. Where are we now? And what has happened since the end of the Ico up to now? Well, we published our Proof of Concept that we are continuously developing and release weekly or monthly depending on how many updates and upgrades we make in the platform, we release public updates via newsletters, so we explain everything we’ve added and we’ve added several integrations, the complete Kyc,the integration with text messages for example when you sign in, we are about to release the first beta version of the mobile app. So with regards to the development part we’re almost done. (A first beta product, obvoiusly). Then it must always be improved thanks to user feedbacks. In the blockchain part we released the mainet, we made the distribution, we were one of the fastest Ico that made a non-token Erc20 distribution. We spent 4 days (very intense days) because from the moment the Ico was closed everyone started asking for the distribution. And you ask for a moment. We made the distribution fairly quickly, everything went pretty well, we had two usual hitches where maybe they couldn’t do the redeem but we managed to solve everything. And then we are getting important partnerships but as you can imagine I can’t say more about it until there is something signed. We have opened the official headquarters that therefore physically exists, so it can be visited if anyone wants to visit us. And we have slightly expanded our staff, the team is the same but with some addition or cut, but we have companies that work for us. So we have major marketing companies, we have Innoviù developing the portal which includes a number of engineers who are working on this project and the Capaccioli firm is dealing with the tax side. So with regard to the business we decided to have everything in Italy. We also have developed and integrated all the legal documentation that we will publish in the portal. It may sound trivial but it isn’t, there are some logistic issues that not everyone knows, for example the deposits that your agents must pay (because they have to pay it), the insurance, the disputes… That’s what I expected, you had to take out some insurance. Well, at the moment we haven’t signed with any insurance because the insurance companies need volumes, so we haven’t done it yet but we have planned and carried out

an insurance fund. This fund is based on the calculations that we have taken up from the studies of 3pl, so the logistic sector studies, in order to understand how many packages and how many problems, losses in transit, fraud, anything that could be a damage that should be considered on the insurance side. We got an idea, we considered it and we put 50 thousand dollars in a fund that will cover the disputes and will be integrated with the disputes that the forwarders will deposit in order to handle the parcels, because obviously if you want to handle 10 thousand dollars in packages every day, the company must have a large part depositated as a deposit. This deposit will be handled by third parties and it will be guaranteed that as soos as you stop to be a forwarder, the deposit will be returned to you. How does the insurance part work? A dispute is opened,if the user as in the classic couriers has insured his package by paying 3% of the value (or, depending on the asset declared, a certain percentage on the value) you are insured on everything. So there’s a dispute, there’s an investigation, we figure out who, what, why and when. Once the case has been established and managed (it will initially be managed by our department, after it will be handled by third-party companies in order to guarantee impartiality and fairness in the management of disputes). This, in addition to the security deposit of the forwarders, allows to discourage frauds also thanks to the weekly sending and receiving limits. Who wants to commit a fraud generally doesn’t waste a month working in the correct way in order to earn something and then to defraud a parcel and lose the deposit. So we are trying to limit the fraud attempt as much as possible. Clearly there will be some attempt but we are organized to manage it. You were talking about Asia before. Do you aim a State in particular? Well, China is certainly a very interesting country talking about export because there are many goods that are shipped from China to the whole world. But in Asia we will also have other States where goods are required. we’re talking about Thailand or even Japan, which is a State that can receive more or less anything but the costs are very high. Many are the Japanese who try to buy with dollars hoping that the package arrives smoothly or without additional costs from America so those are very attractive states but I can tell you that India is another of those states that we would like to approach. India has a huge demand for luxury goods because the rich Indian class is growing and they have needs of materials of a certain type and they must import them so they often use the services of Freight Forwarding. So if you can provide a quality service to India, that can be really profitable. Then we would like to start the instant delivery everywhere because theoretically anyone can offer the service but with regard to the marketing we are focusing a lot on Italy because we have the knowledge of how it works here, because there is a need and we know the market and then we are also aiming at other European countries. We can say that Asia as well as Brazil are very attractive but we won’t be able to start before 2019 there because in those states, as I told you, there is a need to manage the bureaucracy, the legal terms and start everything in the right way. If not, if the classic logistics has not been able to start efficiently, we must do it with calm and with the right timing. A personal question, I’m just curious. I personally love dividends and passive income. Why was the idea of providing dividends to holders abandoned? And do you have the idea of reintroducing them in the future? I also am absolutely a lover of passive income and I was very sorry. It is a decision that I reluctantly took, we started with the idea of giving 50% of the company profits based on the profits of the real business then the idea of being listed on the exchange and being considered a security token by the sec or anyway from the world has held us back. – incomprehensible sentence- Beyond the bodies… but of course all the people in the crypto sector, when they notice that a token is security, it’s another thing, they say: “The only purpose of this token is to raise the value of the token and that’s it”. Our idea though, was just to reward anyone who believed in the project with real profits. We have removed them but we have the idea, we have the will (when legally permitted) to reintroduce them probably in the next year. When the business will already be started,it is possible, but not certain,that they will be reintroduced. We have also made another reasoning: How many profits can LWF generate during the first year? And on the other hand, how much impact can a blockchain of our own have? Because we decided to remove the dividends when we applied the Dpos blockchain. We decided to remove them because we said to ourselves: we’re going to produce so little in the first year… because as we know in the companies the first year the cost is higher and it is difficult to bring it on budget or make a profit. This happens in real companies, then in the crypto world obviously you can also earn money as long as there is a mobile wallet to realize. We said to ourselves: well we remove them, we are compliant to all they want, exchangers of a certain type, we are legally untouchable because our token is not a security, when the business will be started we will divide the company that deals with business from the company that deals with blockchain then the dividends will be divided between two different legal entities so that they don’t affect the currency. But we are still developing it with our lawyer, Stefano Formenti and we are evaluating what’s the best way to do it, but I would like to give investors these dividends. Beyond the part that strictly concerns the token, at a business level, what do you plan to do in order to promote yourself, to operate in a real way? Of course, this is another theme that involves a certain amount of budget. Let me explain: when we decided to develop our portal we also considered the marketing development, because when you need to attract a crypto public the ICO generally works like a megaphone and starting from this everyone is able to understand how I work and the public decides whether to enter or not. This is different, we need to attract normal people, drivers, we need to attract people who know little about the crypto world, so we started to have a marketing department run by Innoviù that promotes and manages all the social part, positioning, management… so they pretty much take care of making us known on the web, which, regarding the marketing part,is the first thing that must be done. Regarding the part of the press office, we are starting to create and work with a big company, there is still nothing effective but we will soon start with a marketing plan with this international company. This marketing plan of press office, of relations, so we would like to appear in some local televisions in America in order to solve the critical point of the project: that is the mass of users, so to attract the forwarders. While in other channels in Asia and a little bit in Europe we have to find the customers instead. For the freight forwarding services, for the mobile app, we have a whole other plan that takes up more budgets: that is to appear here in Italy on important newspapers, we want commercials. I can’t tell you in what channels and in what ways yet but we really want to develop a knowledge of the brand LWf among the people so when sooner or later you will walk down the street instead of hearing “I used Uber to travel” you will hear: “You know, yesterday I sent flowers to my girlfriend via LWF!” This is what we want to achieve. This project won’t take 1, 2 or 3 months, there is a marketing plan and in any case an acquisition of users and knowledge of our own brand that can also require 1 year. But we plan to start soon, as soon as we are in beta with the platform, the marketing plan will start. The positioning has already started, we are working, but I must have a working product and, only after that, I can think about appearing on the radio or on TV. Obviously, it is necessary to work within appropriate timelines. So the marketing plan already exists, we will attract an important slice of users in America and the Italian part will have its importance in the mobile app, in which we have considered the majority of investments in commercials and large media. Through channels, communities and social networks, we are going to promote the instant delivery all over the world even if at slightly smaller levels we’re going to do it. Before you said that the token works as a consent algorithm with the Dpos. Yes. Why this choice? I ask because I noticed that usually the proof of work or the Post will be used so why did you opt for the Dpos? There are many reasons, a bit for the energy issue a bit for the maintenance of the knots and a little for the potential. It is no coincidence that they are developing projects like Eos, like Tezos and many other projects in Dpos this is because the Dpos allows you to have huge scalability concepts that is, in order to implement additional functions with regard to bitcoins we use the Lightning Network but otherwise we work with the proof of work in which we are bound to miners, to a network difficulty, where the concept of decentralization is not as effective as many people think. Clearly I have my idea and everyone has his own. The Dpos allows you to have an extremely versatile democratic concept. So through the concept of the votes you could say “I want the biggest share holders to take corporate decisions”. So anyone can give his or her opinion and will have a weight based on how many coins/stakes he or she has plus it is very very scalable. The block size allows you to enter a lot of informations. So you can enter data in a block transaction then this data is written a bit like in the traditional blockchain but with an enormously scalable amount. So when I think about how I would like a blockchain system I think in two ways: Dpos which is my favorite or you can use Iota systems and so on. The Tangle for me is like a decentralized system applied to the car, you can hear of it increasingly often. The Dpos for me is more suited to companies where anyone can say I enter the company even though I have just a few coins because I still can give my idea. So if the company has to make an important decision it can communicate this decision to the Shareholders and they can reach a decision by voting. Then there are many other things you can implement with the masternodes so… let’s say that the scalability and the democratic consensus have played a fundamental role in the choice for me. I heard rumors about the possibility of implementing the masternodes. Yes, yes. Is this idea true? Because if it were true, I think I would like to help you decentralize. You’re welcome!Yes,yes, well,this idea was born from the idea that a coin should be spent but in addition to using it as “gas” in the platform or the decentralized database where you spend coins in order to send informations, the idea of having the masternodes which can offer functions as block maintenance, a bit like in Zcoin, Dash and Dash’s fork, – not clear— Exactly, a matter of privacy which is now common in the sense that all Dash’s fork has this function but add features to the masternodes that are independent from the forgers. I mean, the forger must keep the transactions in blocks through the rewards he has forged. If the masternodes have activated additional features such as the management of logistics information, these masternodes can manage them. Obviously this also works as an incentive to keep the currency because the more it is used the more stakes there are the more money becomes useful and therefore once it is useful without thinking directly about the value…it is known. The problem with common masternodes is that often there is nothing behind it. What we are developing… I have mentioned that it will be possible to manage logistic information through the masternodes. I can’t tell you more but this will make this function useful not only for a mere use of value that becomes stake, but also for a practical use in the platform. Operational questions on the masternode side: Do you know how many of your tokens are needed to create a masternode? We don’t know it yet, this data will certainly be very important when we will be on the market. That is, we don’t decide this now because it could be misleading for a person who wants to enter LWF for other reasons and we are not able to know it until the price is defined. Unlike various already existing mastenodes, we were born as Dpos and our distribution duringthe ICO was not based on a cost but on a crop. So we will of course base the number of coins to be used as a stake on the masternode only once we are listed and the network will be fully operational. For me it is important to clarify something that many ask me. “Now that you are rewriting and you will no longer be a fork, will we lose the coins or there will be an Alt Fork?”. No, we are rewriting the blockchain in such a way that it is completely backwards and that the consent moves slowly from the old nodes to the new ones. So this will be completely painless and of course we will slowly update everything but it will be painless so no one will lose anything. Actually due all the work that we have done in order to create the distribution, to create a mainnet that is working and also to maintain a testnet for testing, clearly it is in our interest that no one gets problems. About the ROI, are you planning to create a super inflationist one or it will be a low one? No, it will be low. In the masternodes the return of investment usually decreases as masternodes are created. We will decide whether to incentivize the creation of masternode by having few coins to stake or to give a low/medium rewards but with as many coins as needed to make the masternode. We want to understand what could be better for the project, not in order to increase the value, because that is easily conceivable, like encouraging people saying “spend some money in order to get in now”. Because you earn a lot, but we don’t care about it. We are interested in giving the right rewards to those who believe in the project but we don’t want to inflate it because then it would happen like in other projects where you get the return of investment of 1500% and after two days they went bankrupt. So instead of being attractive but lacking in substance, we prefer to be a serious project that provides you a good (but not excessive) return of investment. If we notice, coins with a low average return of investment Zcoin, Pivex or Dash, are low but keep an important capitalization even in case of problems. This is what we would like to achieve. Final question on the masternodes: on the installation side will there simply be an autoscript or will there be guides? Yes, we will create a guide because it is fundamental both a video guide and a written one with all the steps. What I would like to do is something much simpler than the current installation of a Zcoin. Because the installation is currently a limit for many people because it is difficult. Who isn’t used to use the terminals can try to follow the guide but it isn’t easy. We would like to do something almost completely automatic and we would like to make it feasible even on Windows, so someone could install on a Windows server instead of on a Linux one, through an executable that is autonomous: It asks you to enter some parameters, you do it and you’re done. Then I want to book for the video tutorial! Perfect! You’re one of us! Sore chapter: the exchanger. Costs, what you paid for and timing. When will you be listed according to you? I know it doesn’t depend on you… Of course, this is a question that many people ask me, they complain saying “But when will the exchange…” “But you said that…” etc. So, what every project does is to give dates. We gave an indicative date that was the end of March but it doesn’t mean that in March we paid the exchangers. It’s been more than 4 months since I paid the first one and we constantly, every day, ask at what point we are. I don’t usually say the names because people then make their own ideas… I’ll say it now because I don’t want to hide anything. I usually don’t say it because it can create false hopes about dates. But I’ll tell you that the first one we paid was Yobit with 1 bitcoin that in that period had a value of 10,000 euros. Then it was Cryptopia’s turn that we paid with their own coin whose value (more than three months ago) was $ 100,000. And then we unfortunately paid HitBTC that sadly has its own timing and is overburdened with requests and money. They don’t care if you give them more money, they are very strict about it indeed. They tell you “It doesn’t make sense that you ask every day, the timing is the one we already told you and actually it could also be delayed”. We stay in close contact with all the exchanges that we have paid, they have been an high cost for us because we paid HitBTC with 27 bitcoins with the particular priority we asked for even if we didn’t skip the line. What was the value of bitcoins at that time? They still had a very high value, let’s say that the expenditure was between 250.000 and 270.000. Just the HitBTC? Yes, just HitBTC, if we consider the legal costs required to certify the currency and the costs for the exchanges, LWF has spent 400,000 Euros. This is a value that in bitcoin could be a bit higher, depending on when we changed them. However exchanges are a theme that all of the Ico have to face. There are those who pay as late as possible but it’s a mistake. We have decided and I have decided to pay with my own money, when we didn’t yet have the funds that we collected in order to be able to anticipate the request 4 months ago, when we were still in Ico period. I couldn’t do more than this. However, we have a person who deals exclusively with exchange. This person tries to talk every day (which is not always possible) with the people who have been assigned to us for the listing. It is therefore difficult to give a date but we think that by mid-April the first exchange will list us. What I can say to the community is we are doing everything we can because for us, as for them, the fact that our currency is capitalized is a priority, because once the currency is capitalized we’ll also know a little about how the market will act with us. Clearly in these bear market periods when everything goes down many don’t want it to be listed and what I answered them in telegram is: “We can’t decide when it is listed or when not”. We have paid, we give the information, we all support the exchanges and then they decide. If they decide to list us now,it won’t be our choice and it won’t be a strategy. We don’t make strategies, although many say it should be done. We have paid in transparency, we have asked in transparency for our investors and for whoever creates the project. We must be listed. When and how it depends on the exchanges. So with regard to centralized exchanges we have Hitbtc, Cryptopia, Yobit, we also have agreements with Bitgrail that unfortunately had a problem that doesn’t allow him to operate so we had to withdrawn our proposal. We have also requested decentralized exchanges Next exchange which, however, are not very attractive.
