PRODUCT IDEAS for Amazon 💸 Million Dollar Case Study I Jungle Scout I Session 1

– Alright, the official
start of the million dollar case that study guys. I’m gonna go ahead and get started here. So we have a big night planned tonight and a big year ahead of us, okay. For those of you who aren’t familiar. 14 months ago we started
a case study called Jungle Stix. And actually I have a pack
of Jungle Stix right here. They’re freakin huge. – Awesome. – But these have sold
$210,000 worth of sales in the past 14 months. All profits going to
Doctors Without Borders. I think we’ve donated 51 or $52,000 to Doctors Without Borders
from that case study. So that was fantastic. However I like to set big goals and I wanted a larger charitable mission. So that starting tonight we’re commencing the million dollar case study. Now we want to take our seller account. All our physical product
sales to a million dollars. So tonight is the first night of that. The easiest way to start
to get there is to add another product to our line up. Right now we just have the Jungle Stix. They’re doing great 200K a year. But if you do the math
that’s like five years to get to a million dollars
and I’m not that patient. So we’re gonna launch more products. We’re gonna find more revenue streams and with all that what we do know is we’re not stopping until we
get to a million dollars. I don’t know exactly how
we’re gonna get there but we will figure it and
we’re gonna do this together. So just to give you a little over view. We’re gonna do these about once a week or once every other week
while it’s action packed. Maybe during some slow
periods like when we’re waiting for samples or something else. We might go, I don’t know. A couple of weeks in between. But you can plan at least for
the first half of this year to be doing a lot of these webinars. We’re gonna do like
over the shoulder looks of all the work that we’re doing so it’s going to be very exciting. I encourage all of you
guys to follow along at the same pace so
tonight we’re gonna start looking for which product
we’re gonna add to our line up. I encourage you guys to look for a product to either start selling on
Amazon or to add to your line up. So we’re gonna do this
like fully transparent. We don’t have any secrets. We’ll share all of the
failures along the way as well as all the successes. The Jungle Stix did extremely well. Like I said over 200,000 in 14 months. So we have some big shoes to fill with this second product. But I’m confident that it will do well. I’ve kind of broken it down into a system that I know works. It might not do 200K a year but a product that does
100K a year is a winner too. So we don’t know exactly
how this is gonna turn out. What we do know is we’re
going to a million bucks. Alright, so like I said earlier guys. We’re starting another case study. This one to a million dollars in revenue. We might have to expand
outside of last case study which was just on Amazon. This time we might try
to drive outside traffic. This time we might try to set
up our own e-commerce store. We might expand to
international marketplaces. We don’t know exactly
where it’s gonna take us. What we do know is we’re gonna
let you guys follow along with the whole thing. And watch and learn from our failures and our successes so
you can mimic them too. Or especially the successes,
not so much the failures. (laughing) So where are we currently? Where did this kind of stem from? So like I was saying at the beginning. 14 months ago we launched these bamboo marshmallow stix, okay. They were dubbed Jungle Stix. When we were starting
we didn’t really know where it was gonna lead or
how it was gonna turn out or anything else. And they were a tremendous success. I took this snapshot
yesterday on February 21st. They’ve done $210,000 in sales. It looks like we’ve sold
over 10,000 of them. Which is great, in 14 months. Of that we’ve done over $50,000 in profit. You can see from the checks here. We donated one check to Doctors
Without Borders for 18,000. Another one for 33,000, this
was actually just last week. This was an updated team
picture which is cool. Anyway just to give
you a little over view. They sell for about 20 bucks each. We purchase them for $2.70 per unit. But actually take to
Amazon fees, PPP, shipping, promos, everything else. It leaves us with about
$3.50 profit per unit. Actually I think that’s
a little bit higher. Depending on what price point we’re at. I think maybe that was an average for the first half of the year. I should have updated that once we raised the price a little bit. We want a bigger charitable mission. This was a great start. I like setting larger goals. So we want to go bigger. So a lot of you if your just tuning in. If you don’t know much
about selling on Amazon. You’re probably wondering a few things. Like what does this take? What’s going to be involved with this? How much money do I need? How much experience do I need? How much time do I need? And all these other kinds of things. Feel free to follow along with our last collaborative launch. It at But to give you an update what it took to launch that product
that sold over $200,000. Most of the work is front loaded. I didn’t keep track of the exact hours. But I guess it takes about
40 hours to launch a product. So this is like vetting suppliers. This is doing the product research. This is setting up your listing. This is either taking your own photos or coordinating with
someone taking your photos. This is writing your listing,
all that kind of stuff. This is where the majority of the work is. After that, what I love
about selling on Amazon is it’s pretty well tuned
easy system after that. I figured I’d spend
about four hours a month managing this particular business. Just out of curiosity I
went in there yesterday. In the last 365 days, I’ve
received 185 support tickets for this particular product. So it’s about 15 a month. So that’s pretty doable. To answer 15 emails maybe
takes me, I don’t know. 30 minutes or an hour. To tell you the truth a lot of those are out of office replies. That’s okay. What else do I have to do? I have to reorder when inventory gets low. So I place six reorders. Each reorder takes me 20 minutes to contact my supplier
and Skype and order it. And then I spend an hour or two each month trying to optimize my listing and my PPC. So I’ve been running Split tests on it and I’ll adjust my PPC
to get the maximum amount of sales with the lowest amount of spend. So once you get going it
doesn’t take that much to manage one of these businesses. But it is a significant
amount of work up front. It also does take some
cash to purchase inventory. I’d say you need at least
a couple thousand dollars to really start off at the
same scale of what we’re doing. Of course there’s lots of
people hae done it for less. Like you can get going pretty easily if you have a few thousand
dollars to spend on inventory. So just wanted to be
upfront of what it takes to do this and to get to that. So how is this next case
study gonna work out? And it’s a lot of unknowns
to be honest with you. I don’t know how long
this thing is gonna last. We’re gonna do until we
get to a million dollars. Best case scenario I’d say that’s a year. Realistically it’s probably more like two years to get there. What channels? We’re definitely doing We might do other Amazon market places like the UK or Germany or wherever else. We might also try to set up
our own e-commerce store. Or whatever else is working to
sell physical products, okay. What we do know is we’re not
stopping until we do sell a million dollars worth of
physical products online with the primary spot is most
likely going to be Amazon. So you know I think a lot
of people watch this now are thinking okay. That sounds like quite a bit. Just in the last slide you mentioned communicating with factories
and PPC and Split tests and all that stuff. And maybe you’re scared. Saying that’s sounds like quite a bit. I’ve never done this before. And I just want to say calm down. The cool thing about
this whole case study. This whole journey that we’re doing. Totally free and publicly
and transparently. As you can follow along
with the whole process and just trust me when I
say it’s not that difficult. I guarantee it, if you
just watch our webinars you’ll learn everything you need to know to do a pretty dang good
job at your first product. And after that you’ll even be better. But big picture, what I’m
going to be talking about with my favorite sales model on Amazon. It’s commonly referred to as the private label type sales model. So what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna find a good opportunity on Amazon. We’re gonna private label or brand it or white label it or
whatever you want to call it. So all I’m talking about here is I’m gonna get this
manufactured from a factory. I’m gonna put my private label on it. So if I talk about my Jungle Stix again. They’re just bamboo sticks
and I put my private label. Which is called Jungle Stix. I made up that brand. I put that on it. So now I have my own brand. It’s my own type of
product, it’s my own brand. I’m not selling a whatever. Kitchen Aid brand marshmallow sticks okay. These are Jungle Stix. They’re my brand it’s my company. 99% of these products are
going to be sourced from China. We’re gonna find them on
Alibaba or local sources. And what I have a lot of experience with and what I’m very confident is the best opportunity right now
is selling on Amazon. So that’s what we’re gonna do. That’s what we’re gonna focus on. You might try to branch
out a little bit more. If we’re looking for additional sales. However the 80 20 of selling
physical products right now is sell them on Amazon. It’s way easier. That’s where all the shoppers are. And just think right now. How many of you guys listen to this? Especially if you live in the US, order stuff on Amazon. I know that me personally. I order 99% of my stuff on Amazon. So just follow along with us. Don’t worry about setting
up a listing right now. Tonight we’re gonna focus on
finding good opportunities for products to sell on Amazon. Alright, so we’re gonna
go over the criteria. I’m going to talk about
exactly what I look for when I’m looking for these opportunities. So I’m going in blindly right now. I don’t know what I want to sell. Last time it was bamboo
marshmallow sticks. This time it might be back pillows or random kitchen gadget or I don’t know. I don’t know what I’m selling yet. Because that doesn’t benefit you guys. I want you to watch over my shoulder as I’m doing product research and we’ll probably go
down some rabbit holes that aren’t good opportunities. Hopefully other products
are good opportunities cause we need one to sell. But it’s not beneficial for
you guys for me to say hey. We’re gonna sell this product this time. Instead I just want you
to watch over my shoulder. See how I do my product research so you can mimic the same thing. The idea here is not to copy the exact product I’m selling. Don’t go sell a bamboo marshmallow sticks. But understand the process as you watch over my shoulder so you
can find your own product. So we go over the criteria. You’re going to watch over
my shoulder as I find one and then we’re gonna track this product and look at it again next week. So you might say what do
I look for in a product? You’re probably thinking to yourself. Oh I like this sport. I’d like to sell that product. Or hey, I really like office products so I’d like to sell something like that. I want to tell you right now to ditch whatever product
idea you think you have. If you don’t know how
to do product research. I hate to break it to you but whatever product idea you have in your head it probably sucks. Sorry, but it probably does. I talk to a lot of sellers
and that’s often the case. Instead, we’re gonna minimize a risk by going off the numbers. I can’t emphasize this enough, okay. This is really the make it, break it part. When you’re looking for products and when you’re selling on Amazon. So we’re gonna look for products that already have existing
solid demand on Amazon. So we’re not gonna sell
what our buddy told us he’s been looking for but
hasn’t been able to find. Chances are no one else
is looking or that. Only a few other people. Instead we’re just gonna look. What are people literally going on Amazon searching and buying right now? Cause we already know that there’s people that are trying to buy
that product on Amazon. It’s way less risky this way. It’s the only way to do product research. So one of the things is to
have existing demand on Amazon. We want an item that has low competition. Yeah sure, there’s tons of products that sell really well on Amazon. But we want one that is
high demand low competition. We also need something
that has good margins. We obviously are doing this for profit. We’re doing this to make money to donate. For this particular case
study to donate to charity. But we want to make profit. We don’t want it to be a wash. So I think that’s kind of a no brainer. We’re trying to make money from this. We want something that
has low seasonality. So you know right now, Easter’s
coming up in a few weeks. So I’m sure inflatable Easter bunnies are selling really well. However, those things will
only probably sell well in February and March, right. So we don’t want to sell products that only sells two
months out of the year. We want a product that at least. All products usually have
some type of seasonality. But we want a product
that’s selling year round. We’re gonna stay away from
anything that has legal issues. So an example of that would
be a product that’s patented. If the product is supposed to be licensed like if it has Mickey Mouse or your favorite sports team on it. Those are supposed to be licensed. We’re gonna stay away from any products that have legal issues like that. My personal minimum for selling on Amazon is like 18 or $20.00. I want something more expensive than that. Because if you have these
lower price products it’s just very hard to make money. If you’re only making a
dollar profit each item you have to sell quite
a few units to add up. If you’re making three bucks
or five bucks per unit. You make money a lot quicker. So we’re gonna go for something
like $18, $20 or more. It must have all these items. This is the must have column
on the left hand side. Over in the right hand side. I’m gonna say a couple
of nice to have things. One would be a product improvement. So I want to look for a
product that I can improve upon and make it better than
any of my competition. So the easy way to do this
is to read the reviews. You know if people are
leaving a bad review on these bamboo marshmallow sticks. Saying they’re too short. That they burn their hands in the fire. Then I know I should make my bamboo sticks a little bit longer. I’m not inventing a brand new product. I’m just talking about a small improvement that I can tell my factory
and that they can do that without engineering drawings
or anything crazy like that. It’s also nice if the product
is small and light weight. Smaller products have a different
storage limit on Amazon. That’s much easier to deal with. They’re also a lot easier to ship. And overall less headache. I’m not gonna say that’s a deal breaker. That’s why I put it in
the nice to have column. If it’s a bigger heavier product we’ll still consider selling it. However I prefer a smaller
or lighter weight product. With that being said, let’s do it. Let’s find one of these, okay. So, let’s start right here
by just going to Amazon. So like I said earlier, we want products that exist in demand in low competition. So the majority of the webinar, we are gonna use the
Jungle Scout set of tools to help us find one of these products. However I want to just give
you guys a brief over view of Amazon if you’re not familiar with it. And some of the key pieces of
information that they give us. And also how you can do product research without the Jungle Scouts. Cause I don’t want this
to be a sales pitch. So I do want to show you the way you can do it without tools. But what you’ll find is it’s much easier to do it with the tools. So if I click on one of these products. This is one of my competitors. You know I’m selling. If we go back, this is
my product right here. Or this one right here. Jungle Stix, that’s mine. We’ll go ahead and click on one of my competitors here just for fun. If I go down here. What I’m after right now
is I’m looking to see how many units per month this
particular product sells. So when I scroll down
to product information I can see the best sellers, right. Is 8,894 in the parent category. So patio lawn and garden. So right now if I go to This is a totally free
tool that anyone can use. You don’t even have to sign up. I’m gonna type this in. 8,894. – Do you think you can
zoom in a little bit? – [Instructor] Sure. – [Man] Thanks. – [Instructor] Alright, I’m
gonna click patio lawn garden. Let’s see I think I said 8,894. Alright and the free estimator tool tells me that this competitor of mine. He’s only selling 140 units per month. So this gives me a good indicator of how much demand there is
for this particular listing. And this particular product. I just want to show you this because I want to tell you about this free tool. And just show you there is a way to do it without having to purchase
the Jungle Scout tools. So that’s a good way to gauge the amount of demand totally free. And then a little bit
later on in the webinar I’m gonna tell you about how you can gauge the amount of competition
for free as well. Without having to use any tools. So, we are gonna go ahead and dive into Jungle Scout web app. This is gonna be the
easiest way to come up with product ideas. So again, if you don’t
want to buy the tools you can come up with
product ideas on your own. Some good ways that I recommend are like when you’re walking around
Walmart or your house or your friends house or other retailers. You can just keep a list
in your phone at all times. Or however you want to do it. And you can come back and use these to then search on Amazon
and see what the demand competition is like on Amazon. What most people do find
is that it is kind of tough to continuously be thinking about products and product ideas. And that’s where the Jungle
Scout web app really shines. To give you these product
ideas that are already prevetted and are
already doing well, okay. So what we’re in right now like I said. Jungle Scout is two products. One is the extension which
we’ll go over in a little while and one is the web app, okay. We’re in the web app right now. I’m at This is the web app. This is a paid tool. So I’m in this right now, okay. And what I’m looking at here is we’ve rebuilt Amazon’s
catalog in a way that’s user friendly for sellers
to search through. So if I go to Like there’s no search up here to be like. I can’t type in show
products that sell well but aren’t very competitive. Amazon is built for consumers,
it’s not built for sellers. That search doesn’t exist. So that’s what the web app is doing. It has rebuilt the catalog. So we have all the
products in our database and does give you those filters. So I can chose between the US or Canada or Germany or any
marketplace I want up here. Right now I’m in the US. I can select which categories I want and then I can enter some other filters. I’m gonna go ahead and do an example here. This is how I do my product research. I want you to look over
my shoulder as I do this. – Sorry, still having

might be a little bit better. The other option guys if you’re watching and you’re having a hard time seeing. It might be better if you make. I know you won’t be able to

see the screen okay now? – Yeah I think so. Also it does help if you
watch in 720 HD as well. Cool. – [Instructor] Alright, so
I’m selecting categories here. I’m gonna go ahead and
deselect some categories that I personally don’t like. And the reason why I don’t
like most of these categories is like for example. Like appliances. These are very complex
and difficult items. They have a lot of quality control issues. And I want something that’s more simple. Same thing with these electronic items like cameras, cell phones. I usually stay away from those. Clothing I usually stay away from because these are often times. People like to show brand
allegiance to these products. So like I wear an Under Armour shirt because I like that it has
a little UA on it, right. Like that’s cool. People like clothing
with the labels on it. So they’re not as interested in wearing like Greg’s dry fit shirt. They want the Under Armour shirt. So I stay away from those. Computers, electronics for the
same reason I said earlier. I also don’t like to
sell anything that goes on your body or in you. So anything like you eat or
lotion you put on your body. So I’m gonna just unselect grocery. Let’s see, I’m gonna unselect jewelry. Some people have good success in it. I don’t know, to me it seems kind of weird to be selling gold and
other types of jewelry. That could be fine. Any type of digital product
like music or Kindle. You know, that’s not what we’re after. We’re creating a physical
product here to get manufactured. Let’s see, I don’t like shoes for the same reason I don’t like clothes. Cause people, they like
the brand name shoes. Those are a lot more popular. Let’s see, let’s deselect watches. I think most people again probably go for Timex or Rolex or whatever else. So I’ve selected a few
categories I really like here. So these are my favorite categories for private label products on Amazon. Let’s go ahead and enter
some more filters here. So like I said, I don’t
want anything too cheap. So I’m gonna put in a filter here for $20. You could put 25 or 30, whatever else. I also want to say
remember we talked about. We want to see products have
existing demand on Amazon. Somebody would say only show me products that are currently selling. Like 400 units per month or more. So I put a minimum of 400 no maximum. I’ll be glad to look at a
price or selling 5,000 a month. Those are cool. Let’s see, one of the good
ways to gauge competition is how many reviews there are. So I’m gonna do under a 100 reviews, okay. So very mature niches will
have a whole lot of reviews. They’ll have like 500,
1,000, 5,000 reviews. This is like a good
way to gauge how mature listings and that niche are. And those are the one’s that are harder to get your product ranked in. So like right now if I
search, I don’t know. Garlic press or latex
bands or one of those. You’ll see all the
products have 5,000 reviews and Amazon does favor those
kind of matured listings. More than they do the new listings. So it’s harder to get
ranked with those products. So I’m gonna just say
only show me products that sell at least 400 units per month even thought they have
under a 100 reviews. Let’s see, I’m also gonna
say the rating here. I talked about earlier that I want to find something that needs improvement. That I can make improvements for. So if it’s only showing
me products that are five out of five stars. There’s not much room
for improvement there. But if I do like. Here’s a little trick. Like 4.2 stars, visually that will only show up as four stars. So that’s good. Once you get to 4.3 it
shows at 4 1/2 stars. Like the visual star thing
that most customers look at. So this means there is
room for improvement on these products. You know hopefully I can
make a small improvement and get it ranked like four
and a half or five stars. And I can sell a lot
more than these people who are ranked. Or rated like 4.2 or 3.8 whatever stars. Uh let’s see here. I think this is a good start. There’s tons of filters. We’ll go over some different examples like this week and next. But this is probably a good start. I’m also going to go
ahead and check this box. On Amazon if you’re not familiar with it there’s different size tiers. The main one’s are
standard and over sized. There are sub tiers in there
but that’s not important. So if we only look at
standard size products. Those are the smaller products
that I said like I prefer. So right now in seller’s
central we can only store 2,000 I think over sized products. And Jungle Stix are already over sized. So it’s like a little bit of
an inventory planning headache if we have big products. So instead I’m gonna try
and find something small. I’m not positive I can find something but it’s a good way to start. So let’s see we have. We’re starting with 20 million products. With these particular filters I entered of course there’s tons
of different filters you can enter here. We’ll go over some others but we went from two million down to two thousand one hundred. That’s still a lot of products but it’s at the least
manageable for me to look at with you guys, okay. So what this is, so now we have
a curated list of products. So all these products on
here meet our criteria. They’re at least $20. They sell at least 400 units per month. They have under a 100 reviews which tell us it’s not that mature. That old of a listing. They have 4.2 stars or less, okay. And they’re also in
the standard size tier. They’re not in the over sized tier, okay. So now we have a curated list here and what we’re looking
for now are product ideas. So it’s not a guarantee
that any of these products would do well if we were to sell it. But what it does do is it gives us a whole bunch of product ideas that gets us off to a really good start. So we’ll kind of look through
some of these together and I’ll tell you then how
I take it to the next step and think okay. Do I want to take this to the next level? Do I want to try to check to see if this is a good niche to sell in or not? So the first thing that I look at is the. Right now all we’re looking
at is pictures, okay. So when I look at these pictures again I’m looking for a product idea. So when I’m looking at these pictures I’m looking for something
that looks like it’s relatively simple, okay. So that means I can get in manufactured at a factory in China relatively easily. Without major quality control problems or without many what I
think of is headaches. I’m also ruling out
anything that looks like it’s gonna have a strong. People really like the brand. Like clothing and shoes and stuff. I want to try to stay
away from those products. I also stay away with anything that goes on the skin or in the body. So this is a supplement
that’ll go in the body. This foes on the skin. So I’m just gonna scroll
through these products and all I’m doing right now
is looking at the picture. So that’s out because it goes on the body. These are out because A, it’s clothing. B, they have a sports team on it. So you would have to get
this to legally sell. You’d have to get this
licensed by Florida State which I have no idea
how that process works. I’m not gonna do that. Cause there’s way easier stuff to sell. Other than that I’m just looking for relatively simple things that I think wouldn’t be a headache. So I don’t know exactly
what else to tell you. To me selling toothbrushes, I don’t know. That seems like a little bit sketchy cause people are brushing their teeth. What if the plastic is kind
of weird and tastes bad. Are they gonna come after me? I don’t want that. You know this right here just looks like. To me it looks like something
that’s gonna break easily. A lot of valves and O rings. And this looks kind of like a cheap hose. So I’m just gonna try
to stay away from that. Again, like I said this goes on the body. So I’m just scrolling through here and just letting you guys get in my mind about why I’m passing on some products. And we’ll go ahead and select a few here that I think are good. So again like supplements goes
in the body, don’t want it. Very complicated like electronics. To me it seems like this is easy to break. One time I sold one electronic item and I had a ten percent return rate compared to my Jungle Stix. I get return like two percent of the time. So that stuff just breaks easier, right. Like water filters. Again, I’m passing on a
lot of good items here but I’m telling you why
I’m not choosing some because they’re bad. I guess that’s what’s more important. Water filter, like people’s
water goes through that and they drink from it. I can imagine there’s
quality control issues there. There could be bad stuff in the water. I don’t want to deal with that. That seems like a headache. So let’s see and then
other products are like relatively good or simpler right. Like a brown box. It’s pretty simple. Pretty hard to screw up. Wet suite for kids. I don’t think that’s probably a strong brand allegiance for that. That might be okay. Let’s see what else here. Like a supplement, stay away from that. Water bottles, they can do fine but they seem super popular. I’d probably stay away from that. So we’re just kind of
looking through here, right. I just want to. I’m definitely passing on
some good products here but I want to tell you
guys different areas that you should stay away from. This is probably pretty hard to mess up. Saran Wrap that goes
around someone’s stomach. I imagine to loose weight but
I think probably doesn’t work so you’re probably gonna
get lots of bad reviews. You know this is like
electronics products. Stay away from it. Something like this
could be a good product. Something like this
that’s probably be fine. Burlap bag, that would probably be fine. We can start opening some of
these up as product ideas. Tactical pants, probably not. Let’s see here. Something like I said shoes. I don’t really like products like that. See if we can find some. And I like kind of weird stuff. If it seems like. See like this right here. This is like cool, right. I could brag about this to my friends. Like that looks pretty sweet. I’d probably use that thing myself. But what I found is
most of these cool items are much more competitive. So instead I’m looking for
products that are kind of weird. If you told your friend
you’re selling this they’d be like oh yeah,
I guess that’s cool. Cause those are often the best
products to sell on Amazon because they’re usually
the least competitive. Like something like this. You can’t really brag to your friends that you’re selling acrylic sign holders. So products like those
are usually like good. You know they’re like
good in a strange, weird. Not many people sell them. So, let’s see. I’m just gonna continue to
look through products here. Looking for something kind of strange. And then we’ll go over
some of these together. So I’m seeing lots of
clothing which I’m passing on all of that. Um, lots of clothing, supplements. Don’t really want that. Ummmm, different lights. Those are electronics. This is all different creams and stuff. I’m gonna stay away from. Electronics, staying away. Glass, that would probably
break pretty easily. I would consider it but
I would say that would be like a red flag if it’s glass. What are these, belts? Performance wrist bands. I don’t think those things work. What’s this? A belt, sure. Looks kind of strange. Passes my weird test. I guess belts aren’t super weird but to be a private label item on Amazon is kind of weird enough. Let’s see if we can find
maybe one more example and I’m gonna show you
guys how to take it to vett these a little bit further. But I’m just gonna look for something here like kind of strange. Relatively simple, like I said. Looks like something that’s easy to get manufactured in China. Relatively easy to make. Like I’m just looking at this knife. To get a knife that gets good reviews it probably has to come
from a pretty legit factory. Or from Germany or Japan
or whatever, right. So that would be a product that I don’t really want to sell because. Yeah, just a little bit harder
to find a factory like that. What are these? You put baby food in there. I’d be a little bit worried if that’s. Like if the plastic is bad. Um, conch shells. Yeah maybe. What’s this thing? Cute little baby, sure. Hooded towel with bear ears. Alright, so. What did I have there. I had a 20 million products. I narrowed it down to 2,000. I looked on the first page or two. And came up with a few products that I want to investigate further. So like I said. I skipped on a whole bunch
of good products too. But I was just trying to go through here and I want to tell you guys which products I usually rule out. Cause that’s the most important part. Like understanding what
makes a good product and what doesn’t. So, from those 2,000 I came up with this cute little baby wearing
a hooded towel with ears. I have a belt. I have a burlap bag with some string. It’s like little arts and crafts thing. Alright, so we already know
this one particular product meets our criteria, right. It’s like 20 bucks. It does like 400 sales per month or more. What are the other one’s we put in. It was rated between less than 4.2 stars. So there’s an opportunity for improvement. So it met all that criteria but we still don’t know
if this is a good niche. So what I’m gonna do is I’m just gonna Google what I think is the main keywords for this particular product. So probably burlap bag small, sure. Alright and it looks like I did good cause that’s exactly what
our first product was like. Okay so, like I said. We knew that one product
met our criteria, right. But is this a good opportunity as a whole? And that’s where we really narrow it down our niche selection. So now what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna use the Jungle Scout extension. So the Jungle Scout extension
is a different tool. Before remember we were
on We were inside the web app. We were looking at products there. Now we’re on I’m in my Chrome browser and after installing the
Jungle Scout extension I have this little JS up here. So when I click the JS
this popup shows up. And this gives us a bunch of the key metrics that we need to make
educated purchasing decisions or educated product research decisions. So now what I’m looking at is. Like I said, is this
opportunity good as a whole? So, remember I want higher price items. I said like 18 or $20 or more. And a lot of these are
priced a little bit lower. It looks like maybe the
50 packs run at 20 bucks. But the ten or twenty four packs it looks like are gonna. I’m gonna zoom in cause I bet some guys are having a hard time seeing that. That should help. These ten or twenty four packs. These are pricing a little bit too low. So right off the bat I wish it was priced a little bit higher as far as sales go. This top guy is selling quite a few. 320 per month. The next guy is selling about 159 a month. 230, so sales for this product are okay. The rule of thumb that I came
up with that I like to follow. Is if I were to add up all the
sales in the top ten spots. I like to see at least 2,000 sales. So like I said earlier
we’re not gonna go off our gut feeling about what we
think sells well on Amazon. Instead we’re gonna go off the data. Because this is telling us there’s. If I were to add these up
just real quick in my head. Like 300 plus 200. 500 let’s see 700. 900, we’ll just say a 1,000. So we know that a 1,000 people
every month go to Amazon. Type in burlap, small burlap bags or arts and crafts burlap bags. Or whatever they type
in and purchase these. So we already know there is
existing demand on Amazon. Amazon through the channel is selling a 1,000 burlap bags every month. So by knowing this it takes
away a lot of the risks, right. So we’re not saying oh we think that little cute burlap bags would sell well. No, we know that there’s
already a 1,000 Amazon shoppers every month going here and
purchasing these things. So the demands decent. You know like a 1,000 but
I like to look for 2,000. So twice as much demand as that. So to me this doesn’t
have quite enough demand. And then the easiest way
to gauge the competition. Where how much are in niches or how hard it would be to get ranked. Again, key words is how
many reviews there are. It’s definitely not the
only thing Amazon uses to determine how you rank. I’m not saying that at all. But what I am saying is
that it is a good indicator for if it’s a good opportunity
or a good niche or not. So I like to find multiple sellers with under 50 reviews
in the top ten spots. So this is a very non competitive niche. All the sellers except one have under 50. So this is a very easy
niche to start selling in. Like I could launch this product and within a few weeks
probably get ranked up here like in these top five
spots or something, okay. So this would be very easy to sell in. However, like I said earlier. There’s not a ton of demand. Even if I was right in
these top five spots I’m probably only selling
a 100 or 200 per month. And to get to a million dollars I need to sell more than
a 100 or 200 per month. So that’s like big picture. What I’m thinking about when I’m analyzing each one of these niches. This is like the first thing
I’m going to be looking at. Once I find something
that passes that criteria that’s where I’m gonna dive
in a little bit deeper. But this particular one fails my criteria so I’m gonna go ahead and get rid of it. So the next product in the
million dollar case study is not gonna be burlap bags. That doesn’t do the trick. So let’s see. Now, we have some nylon belts. I guess these are tactical belts. This looks like maybe
what a police officer or maybe someone in the
military would wear. I’m guessing this is what they put their little gun holster
or whatever else on. So I’m gonna search for tactical belts. I’m not sure that’s the
keyword but we’re gonna look. So that kind of looks like it. Yeah, I think this is a good keyword. Main keyword. So this is it. Now again, I’m gonna run
the Jungle Scout extension. Which is different from the web app. Different from what we
were looking at earlier. And it’s gonna give me all these numbers that I need to know to
make a good decision here. So right away we’re
looking at price points. This is a better price
point than the last one. You know like this guy is
selling his for 23 bucks. That’s good. This one is 60 bucks
and it’s still selling 230 units per month. So I do know that people
are willing to spend a little bit more for
these tactical belts. However, there’s also some guys. You know these cheaper ones. This one is only 10 bucks. This one is only six dollars
but it looks pretty crappy. So I’d say like there is an opportunity for me to sell a belt
for $20 or more here. There are some cheaper but I think I could sell one for that price. So then we’re gonna look
at the amount of sales. So like I said, the top 10. I’m looking for at least
2,000 units of demand. And this one easily passes that. Tough Guy sent a 1,000
and 500, 1,800, 1,300. If I were to add these
up it would probably gets to, I don’t know. 5,000 units of demand. So there’s a lot of demand
for these belts on Amazon. But if I look at the number of reviews you can see this is gonna be
a much more competitive niche than those burlap bags. This guy right here, he
has over a 1,000 reviews. 700, 1,700, so like I said earlier. My rule of thumb was under 50. Multiple sellers were
under 50 in the top 10. And there’s only one guy who beats that and he has 49, pretty close to 50. And then the next thing I’m looking at. I think we can go ahead
and just stop right there. So for this particular product it’s probably gonna be
too competitive for us. Unless we try to niche
down a little bit further. In general, tactical belts
are pretty competitive. I can try to look into
this a little bit further and so like okay. What’s a little bit
further down that I can do. Maybe like black tactical
belts or padded tactical belts. I would have to do a
little bit more research and we what else are people looking for. I don’t know if included some of these modular pieces that
hold like the handcuffs or whatever else. It that would work. In general I’m not loving this niche but it does have a ton of demand. It does have an opportunity for me to niche down a little bit further. So I’m gonna go ahead
and just put in a product in our deals list. So right here I just have a sheet open. And I’m just gonna put tactical belts. I’m just gonna put a little note here that says niche down further. Alright, so I’m thinking
this one is probably not gonna work out. But we’ll go ahead and jot it down because it’s not terrible. Like I said it does have a ton of demand. But it looks pretty competitive. Alright so now we’re on this little guy. Cute little baby. This is a hooded towel. Let’s see, so we’re gonna
search all of Amazon for a hooded towel. Alright. That looks like what we’re after. Looks good. We have some cute babies
to compete with though. We’ll see. – I use one of these Greg. I can vouch for them. – [Instructor] Do you really? What animal does Iya have? – She has a panda I think. – [Instructor] Oh a panda. – It’s so cute, yeah. (laughing) I would buy one. – [Instructor] Alright. But again we’re gonna go off the numbers not what you want to buy, right. – That is true, I can’t buy
a million dollars worth. – [Instructor] There you go. Alright so, right away I’m
looking at the price point. This price point I like. I see lots of people
selling for over 20 bucks which is good. Estimated sales is good. 900 plus 800, a 1,000. If I were to add these up. Especially this guy selling 2,000. There’s a lot of demand here. I’d say like 4,000 units. It easily passes my demand test. And there’s actually not many reviews. So like I said I’m
looking for multiple sales with under 50 reviews in the top 10. I see one, two, three, four. So that’s pretty good, in the top 10. Four out of the ten guys is telling me they have pretty new listings. Which is good. That means I can probably
get in there pretty easily and start selling there. So I’m liking that. Yeah, all that looks good. Even after Amazon feeds
looks like there’s plenty money to be made. You know this top one selling for $24. There’s $7 in Amazon fees so
there’s 17 bucks left over. If I could sell something similar I guarantee we can get these things made for like five, six, seven dollars which. That means there’s quite a bit
of potential profit for us. Even at like $7.00, our
profit would be 10 bucks. Which that would be great
if we could get that. So overall I’m liking this quite a bit. What I do want to do. When I think about the
great opportunities for 2017 is to make improvements
on a product though, okay. So I’m seeing most of these
are rated pretty well. Those top ones that
five out of five stars. Four and half, four and a half, five. I’m gonna dig into some of
these listings that have four out of five stars. See what’s wrong with them. And see if that’s
something that we can make an improvement on. So let’s see, what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna go into the listing. I’m gonna scroll down to the reviews and I’m gonna start
reading these bad reviews and see if it’s something
that we can easily make and improvement on. So cheaply made, thin. Had it for a week and
there’s a hole in the ear. Washed it and it fell apart. Not very soft. Poor quality. Okay so it seems like so
far just poor quality. Poor quality. Thin, not great quality. Wished it was longer, okay. Head parts too big. Material seems kind of course. So I’ve only spent one minute reading this but if I were to get this
manufactured from a factory. I would say hey, I want to
use a hight quality material. So maybe they could send me samples of three different materials and I could pick the softest one. I would also say that
I might get it like a few inches longer than
what this person’s selling. And what was the other thing? They wish the hood was a little
bit smaller or something. What did I say? Anyway I can read that
and look at it, okay. So I’ve only read one product. You know the reviews in one product. Right away I’m seeing that. Okay if we sell these hooded towels. Hooded towels, we would
want it higher quality. Longer, I think I said smaller head. I’ll double check on that. So, I’m quite confident that
I can get this manufactured. I’d probably have to
spend like an extra dollar to get something like a
higher quality material. But I’m sure I can make all
those changes, you know. You can get a higher quality. Even like in this picture
this does look kind of janky. You know a higher quality fabric. I could easily get it cut
like a few inches longer. That would be no problem. I’m sure I could adjust
the sides of the hood. Make it an inch shorter or whatever so they could
see out of it better. If that seems like a common complaint. So out of these three we’ve looked at. Like this is my favorite. That doesn’t mean it’s
the perfect product for us by any means. I do need to dive into
this a little bit further. So some other things that I’m gonna do when I’m looking for these products. Remember I talked about
earlier, the seasonality. So is this product seasonal
and how are the trends overall? So what we’ve done is I clicked this little trend button in the extension. And this tell us how this products been trending since 2004. So overall you’ll see a
little bit of a up tick. These are getting a
little bit more popular now than what they were
in 2004, 13 years ago. And it looks like there’s a
little bit of a seasonality. So it looks like if we
look at this little graph. It looks like January and
February, the slowest months. And then I’m seeing a peak in June. So a peak in the summer and then a peak in November and December. Like they’re probably a
popular Christmas gift. I imagine parents or
grandparents are getting these for their kids. And I’m seeing that every year. Like it looks like a summer
peak and a December peak. Which is no problem. That’s kind of similar to our
marshmallow stick right now. One other important thing
I want to look at though is how big is the difference? So if I were to look right now. Like I was talking about this
inflatable Easter bunnies. You would see it would be
zero all throughout the year and the a hundred for the two
months leading up to Easter. Instead what I’m seeing
here is in November and December the numbers
around 99 or a 100. Where as in the slowest month. Looks like this is a little bit slower. Yeah one of those, it’s around 60. So I can expect. You know if 99 is my maximum. I can expect during my
slowest months to sell about 60 or 70%. So Google gives us a relative number so the maximum search
volume it assigns a 100 to. And the lower months
you can just think of it like a percentage. So you know the lower months 62. So you can think of it as okay. You’ll probably sell around
62% during this slow month as what you do in your peak months. So that’s fine. That’s a very acceptable
amount of seasonality for me. So it passed that test. So overall this is a
pretty decent product. I’m still gonna do some further research to see if I can find a better one. Cause I’m only on. That was my second of third. And I’ve only been doing
this for 20 or 30 minutes. I’m gonna try to find a better one but this is an option I would say. Um let’s see. Maybe that was the third one. Oh yeah, cause I looked
at those burlap bags. – Yeah burlap. – [Instructor] Right,
so this is my third one. (cough) Excuse me. So this is I would say
the best one of tonight. However we are gonna do some more product research next week. I’ll probably spend an hour or two in between this week and next week also doing a little bit more. And I’ll be sure to share that with you or how I’m doing it. But before we cut off. We’re gonna try to keep you about an hour so that means we’re gonna
have about 10 minutes left. Before we cut off I
want to talk to you guys about a few other ways to
be looking for products. Because I want you guys
looking for products between this week and next. You can ask your questions
in the chat box next week. So I want to go over a few other
filters that I really like. There’s so many different combinations of filters you can do here. I just did one. But some other great
filters that you can do is I can look for products
that get really bad reviews. So let’s say a product that sells at least 500 units per month. Even though it only has a rating
of three and a half stars. I don’t even care how many
reviews this thing has overall. All I know is it’s a really janky product cause it’s average is
three and a half stars. So now if I look at these. What I see, you know. This products selling 526 per month even though its average star rating is three and a half stars. Or like this product right here. It’s selling over 500 a month and it has. Two people left a review and
they left one star review. Or sorry, yeah two people
left a review for one star. These are products that
can easily go through and look at and think
how can I improve those. And the easy way to do it is just by reading the bad reviews. So that’s a really good filter. Another filter that you can use when you’re looking at products between this week and next week. If you have Jungle Scout. Is you can look for products
that are selling well even though they have a bad listing. So what we’ve done is we’ve
rated all of the product. All of the listings on Amazon
between one and a hundred. And that’s a great indicator
of how good of a listing it is. How much competition you have? Or how good their marketing is? So if I only look at products that have. Remember I said one through a hundred. So if I look for products that are selling at least 500 units per month. Yet has a listing quality
score of under 40. Usually going to be a really bad listings. So I just did this real quick. There’s a bunch of products here. Let me just open one of these
up so you can look at it. And keep in mind. If we look at my marshmallow sticks. Let me just pull them up real quick. Of course I’m bias but you know I think it’s a pretty good listing. And I am pretty educated on
what makes a good listing. What you’ll see here is we
have lots of pictures, right. Right here there’s seven pictures. If you can click you can see even more. We also, we have five bullet points. We filled all of them out. If you scroll down here. Look we have. This is called enhanced brand content. So more pictures here. Great bullet points. More pictures here. Great bullet points. Again, so over all high quality listing. And we do know that listings
like this convert a lot better. If I go and look at that
compared to this guy who got a listing quality of only 38. He only has two pictures. You can do, depending on
the category you’re in. You can do six or eight. Sometimes even 10 pictures I think. He’s only using two. He has really crappy bullet points. You know if we look at our bullet points. Lots of keywords in here. Lots of phrases that sell well. And if I scroll down. Okay he did alright with. You know he has a few of
these picture here, right. But it could be a lot better and that’s why he only
got 38 out of a hundred. So it’s much easier to
compete with someone like this instead of competing with
a whole bunch of listings that are really high quality like this. Like my bamboo marshmallow sticks, right. So what you can do is
you can go through here. Let’s see this one was only rated a 27. So this has one picture. It has no bullet points,
zero bullet points. Which is terrible. A terrible title. Okay so this doesn’t have many keywords. If I scroll down. Like I said our product description. Remember it has all these
pictures and all this text. Like really high quality. This person has target, one word. So this things not
ranking for any keywords, I guarantee it. Cause there’s none in here. Yet, it’s still selling
a 1,000 units per month. So this is a really good way
to find good opportunities. Because if this dude can
sell a 1,000 units per month when he has this terrible listing. Even if you sold the exact same thing but just made a really good listing with lots of pictures. You know this looks
like a shooting target. Like lifestyle images. Like people shooting at this target practicing with this thing
with big smiles on their face. And they’re having a great time. I guarantee you can do a lot better than what this guy is doing. So those are a few of the filters
you can work on this week. I was hoping to cover more during this. But man an hour goes by fast even when you’re talking quickly. I’m just gonna touch on
the niche hunter real quick because some of you guys are doing product research this week with us. You probably do want
to know how this works. So where the product database, we’ve categorized all the
products in Amazon’s catalog. With the niche hunter we’ve gone about it a little bit of a different way. So what we’ve done is
we’ve analyzed the niche’s or the different keywords
or niche’s on Amazon. It looks like there’s
about 10 million here. And we’ve ranked these
for a bunch of things. So we give you the average
price in that niche. What category it’s in? The average amount of unit sold. So on average people selling
this particular product or in this niche are selling
3,000 units, so a ton. We’ve also rated how steep
the competition is on average? How good a listing there are? That means how competitive it is? And overall what the opportunity is. So right now we’re
sorting the opportunities so you can see all these hundreds. But you can scroll through here. You can look at all
these different products. Some of them are gonna
be good opportunities. Some of them aren’t. We took it like 99% of the way for you. But to get that last one
percent it does require the human eye. Like I said. You can’t sell stuff
with sports teams, right. So these right here. These Red Sox. Well, right away my brain
went to the baseball team but maybe these are just red socks. Maybe those would be okay to sell. (laughing) Some of these though, things like I said you do still have to use human eye to do that last one percent. Like the Pokemon Go. You know people are
only buying these things because they have. It’s licensed by Pokemon Go. So you can go through here. You can click on each one. It gives you some more
information once you click down. We give you some tips that are specific for that particular niche. So like this one has excellent
demand, not much competition. It’s also giving you a tip. Like hey, a lot of listings
here are poor quality. Think about creating a
really high quality listing to compete there. So I think this is enough. I’ve jammed a lot in an hour here. I apologize if I’m going too fast. You can always watch the replay. We’re also gonna recap
it in our blog post. You guys can go over
this a little bit more. But I think we’re at least
off to a great start here. Out of the three that
we’ve briefly went over. One potentially could be the
next product we launch online. We won’t know for sure until
we do some more research. Between this week and next
I’m also gonna look for a few more opportunities. So again with that being said. I know we only have two
minutes til the hour is up. But do we have some
questions we can answer? – Uh well, first Greg if
I could just add actually. Share one thought, one filter
that you didn’t mention. – Absolutely. – Which is a number of
sellers in the web app. So I think the number of
sellers is actually great. You can just do a min
of one and a max of one. And then that way you know that it is a private label product. And then from there if
it’s doing successful we can use your spy on
the competition method. Where you kind of like go to the listings. See if the seller has a store front. Other products that they’re selling and what might do well. So you’re kind of banking
off of the research of other successful sellers. Not that you want to do
the exact same thing. But then from there product improvements or other iterations of the product. So that might be something that we find some opportunities as well. – That’s a really good one. And that is one of my
favorite ways to do it. I know we said that we
were going to keep this to an hour again. But let me actually just
show that real quick so people will know what
you’re talking about. Cause that is actually one of my favorite ways to do research. So if I just look for something like. Let’s say yoga mat. I’m just typing in so I know
there’s private sellers on. I’m gonna scroll down here. I’m just gonna look at. Alright sure, Balance From. So that Gen was talking
about is I can go in here. Let’s see, this one’s
actually sold by Amazon. Let me find a different one. Clever Yoga. Alright so what Gen was talking about here was by spying on the competition. Is we can go in, we can
look at other brands or other sellers. So if I click this. These are all the products
under that brand Clever Yoga. This is the seller right here. Have Some Goods. I’m gonna click on that. I’m gonna look at the sellers store front. And this has loaded up all the price that this particular seller sells. So I’m pretty confident this
is a private label seller just cause this is a really
private label product. So what I can do now is I can
run the Jungle Scout extension and see what all of his products are and how much they’re selling. So my favorite thing to do then is sort by the number of sales. And after doing this. What I can do is I can cherry
pick all the best products. I can also go in here and filters. Like hey only show me products that. Let’s say sell over a
1,000 units per month. Alright and this is showing me okay. It got rid of all this
price aren’t doing well. I think there was a few in there that are only selling
eight or ten or something. And now I’m looking at
all the best products. So from this I can get a whole
bunch of more product ideas. So there’s a block. A balance pad. A strap, I don’t know. So you can go in here and
look at all their products. It’s pretty cool though that you can spy on other sellers like that. It is a great way to come
with other product ideas that sometimes might not
show up in the web app or wherever else. – What would the next steps be? – List out different opportunities that you think would be good. You can go through there and you can see all these different types of products. Then I would just list them out in a spreadsheet somewhere,
like what I’m doing. Once you’ve come up with
let’s say 10 products that you think could
be good opportunities. Then you can take one last
look through all of them and choose your best one. And that’s what we’re gonna do. We’re gonna come up with a
few different options here and we want to find the very best one. And then that’s gonna be the product that we’ll do for the million
dollar case study. – Yeah, fantastic. And then you recommend
really focusing on the US to determine demand in all these things or kind of depending on
the market that they’re intending to sell on? – Yeah, that’s a really good question. So you can follow along and do all this in one of the other markets too. So like we said. Like Amazon UK is pretty
popular and Germany. It’s popular in a lot of
other countries beside US. US still is the biggest market. But if you live in Europe
and you feel more comfortable selling in UK or Germany. That’s fine too. You can follow these same
steps for the European markets. – Alright and then do
people need to worry about patents or looking into violating
that at all at this stage? – Um I don’t know if I’d worry about it too much at this stage. That’s gonna be one of the last things that we go and look through, okay. That being said, if it is pretty obvious or you have some strong
suspicions that it is patented. Then it’s a good idea just
not to add it to the list. So if it is a very unique product that no one else is selling. Yeah, there might be a good
chance that product is patented. If there’s 10 other people selling the exact same water bottle
or baby towel or whatever. It’s very unlikely that it’s patented. Gen and I surveyed our
audience a few weeks ago and we asked who’s
selling, who’s not selling? Those who are selling and
what is your biggest regret? And all the people who were selling. All their biggest regrets
were not starting earlier or not taking action. So that’s what I’d really
recommend if you guys. If this seems like an
opportunity that you’d like to take advantage of. If you’d like to start selling
physical products online. If you’d like to expand
your physical products. Your products sweet or on to Amazon. Then I really encourage you
guys to just take action. This is a great time right. It’s the start of a new year. There’s no better time to do it. Amazon’s a fantastic
opportunity right now. So that is what I would leave you with. Get out there. Take action on it. Let’s do this together. It’s gonna be a lot of fun and I would also say don’t worry about these other things that

  12. Love the content and love the products, planning on upgrading to JS Pro soon. Im in the research phase and have curated about 20 items after an initial screening the tips you guys provided. Now, what would you recommend to go deeped in terms of research, right now Im focusing on sales per day, seasonality, low competition and price. Are there any other points that I should be taking into consideration. Also, I found a couple of products that were priced lower (around 15 usd), but could easily be sold for a bit more by making it a bundle or something like, would you recommend going for it?   15. So of all the filtered products that are actually viable, there's a few hundred at most. But there are thousands and (probably) thousands of sellers using the same tool or similar. Seems there would be a crap load of people finding the same product and putting it out to market around the same time. How is that not saturated? Am I missing something?

  16. How does Jungle Scout rank the products. For example, at 40:14 – the review of the tactical belts – you said the #1 guy was selling a thousand a month. Well the #3 guy was selling 1800 a month. #1 was ranked 2602 but #3 was 1322. #1 made $10,000 a month. #3 made $43,000 – doesn't seem to be sorted correctly??? Am I missing something?

  17. Hi, why is the BSR rank not filled when selecting filters in the product database? Will it not just give us a bunch of items that are already too hard to compete ?

  18. First; people should know that Amazone has "Gated Categories" that sellers must get products approved prior to selling on their site. Second: make sure their is not a patient on the product you intend to sell. I heard of a seller who was selling a product on Amazon, ordered a lager shipment and THEN Amazon pulled his product telling the seller, they found a patient. They were stuck with the shipment!

  19. Greg thank you for the wealth of information. I purchased the pro version of jungle scout web and chrome extension. My problem is this: in Canada it's hard to see the numbers you lay out in the criteria for let's say estimated sales, reviews and even ranks. Do you have a standard criteria to use for us folks to the north of you?

  27. When I put in your exact filters and categories today, Feb 8, 2018, I get 15,794 products instead of the 2100 that you got just one year ago.  How is this business model viable now given that size increase in competition.  That is more than 6x growth in 1 year!!!!

    I'm from India…. How this business model suits for Indian market…. Because price variations between china and us is too different from India and China…. To bear all the shipping costs, customs costs will totally bumps up the product price which is not preferable for Indian market…..

    I have seen that hot selling products mostly comes under the category which is markrd as bad categories by u like apparels, wearables…

    If so do you have any different business model for Indian market or any convincing answer for the above issue..

I suggest Gregory you do one of these videos where you explain all the ways amazon doesnt allow you to sell on their site.I watched all these and was never actually allowed to sell on the site.Didnt matter that what I was selling was already on there,I personally was never allowed to sell on there.Maybe you should have mentioned that in one of your videos.

  44. I hope nobody gets misled by expectations and figures, the guy keeps mentioning the 200k figure to physiologically implant it into your head along with the million dollar case study. Just to make you aware the jungle sticks only make a profit of around 35k in 16 months according to his graphs which is 2k a month, of course im not knocking the guy as this is still amazing and more than most average jobs. Just dont get mislead by the constant large figures he keeps mentioning. Good Luck on your journeys and hopefully this guy helps your dreams come true.
