Running a VR Arcade: Marketing Strategy | Virtual Reality Tips


whenever it comes to starting an arcade
one of the things that you’re definitely going to want to consider is if you’re a
destination or if you’re a walk-by type of store like for example where in a
mall and so something that we had to think about is how most of our customers
are gonna be walked by people and so that changes how we want to do marketing
in a mall you’re just in an area of the mall and so you want to be able to make
sure that as many customers as you can know that you exist
so consider marketing in the mall itself as well as doing demo something we do is
our free demo we allow people to walk a plank and it always draws a crowd and
therefore people are like what is this and they want to know more and it pulls
them in if you’re a destination then obviously you’re not going to have that
instant traffic that’s coming through during holidays or weekends or anything
and so you want to consider your marketing in a different way making sure
you get word-of-mouth out I’d say in social media but also guerrilla
marketing going to campuses and allowing students to try it out and passing out
flyers just all kinds of different stuff like that you definitely want to
consider how your marketing considering if you’re a destination or a walk-in
