The Best Strategy to Approach a Joint Venture Partnership – Joint Venture Marketing Ep. 13

(dramatic music) – Number four, start by making friends. Start by making friends. Every successful joint
venture I’ve been involved with myself including some
kind of prior relationship, usually some kind of prior relationship. If you go and call, you
get a cold response. It’s like someone emailed
you who you don’t know, “Hey, how about you promote me?” You’re just like, “No,
I don’t wanna do that.” It’s a cold response. If you go knowing each other,
you’re much more likely to have the person at least listen to what you have to say with sincerity. That’s why I like events. Events is the best, surely
is the best, hanging around with people, personal time spent

especially when you don’t have that personal brand status yet. Nowadays, I have to admit,
it’s a little bit easier when I lead with my brand
to do a deal with people. Yes, it is easier, but no excuse. Back then, early 20s, when
I did a (mumbles) course, I had no status. I had no brand. I could still make it work. Does that make sense? Yeah, all limited by your creativity. – [Announcer] 10 times your finances, 10 times your business,
